Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Products
Orange Inca is designed in Australia and made in Peru. We work with Peruvian artisans and natural materials: sheep and alpaca wool, junco reed and leather. Our frazadas are naturally dyed and our junco is primarily naturally dyed. No two pieces are exactly alike.
Most of our pieces are made by hand. A few use some machine help, such as the fabric of the Alba clutch and the straps of the Pisac sandals, which are woven with the help of machines and then cut and made by hand.
We use natural materials, including sheep wool, alpaca wool, junco reed and leather. Every product page lists exactly what the piece is made from, and Our Materials page explains each one.

Care instructions vary:
- Junco products: Wipe clean with a soft cloth lightly dampened with white vinegar. Don't soak. Dry in shade, and store in a breathable cotton bag, never in plastic.
- Frazadas and cushions: Air and shake them out, blot spills with a clean cloth and cold water, and never wash them at home. Use a specialist dry cleaner about once a year.
- More detailed care instructions are provided with your products. Visit the Orange Inca Product Care Hub.
We have a pop up in Avalon Beach, on Saturdays and Sundays: Shop 3, Avalon Parade.

How We Work
Yes. We work directly with the artisans and workshops who make our pieces, with no agents or trading houses in between. We travel to the weavers and choose each frazada in person, and we agree prices, planning and orders with our makers directly.
Orange Inca's mission is to bring vibrant, considered colour to the spaces and styles of the world, and to celebrate the creativity and joy of the artisans who make our pieces.
